Temperature and strain affect the propagation of Lamb waves in composite laminates. In order to make accurate models on wave propagation, the influence of these parameters needs to be quantified. Experiments aimed at measuring the magnitude of the Lamb wave propagation velocity have been performed on aluminium and CFRP laminates under increasing stress and temperature. The influence of frequency is also studied.
